During the 1970s Swindon changed the badge to what became known as the ampampquotST arrowampampquot or ampampquottraffic signampampquot badge. This was circular badge and had the letters 39S39 and 39T39 interlocked, with both ends of the letter 39S39 being made into an arrow. Also shown was a simple football and the club name.
